I hope she'll have another kind of ball in two weeks... ;)

BTW big news: Nadl reports official news that Amélie will be coached by Guy Forget until the US Open

New swimsuit photoshoot!!!

Amélie has done a new swimsuit photoshoot for Elle magazine, just before her appendicitis operation, as she states here.

Now all WMO members are kindly required to comb their local newspaper kiosks ... except KJ who will do it only after everyone else has found the photos :) ;) (being she the Official Utterly Useless Information Finder)

Quote from the interview: "I thought it was food poisoning at first. I was in Paris doing a photoshoot for Elle magazine in swimsuits, and then it started. The next day I received the Legion d'Honneur from our President."

Other interesting tidbits from the interview include:

"I had a very difficult week after that, because I don't know what they put in the anaesthetic. I felt terrible. Mentally, I felt down."

"First of all, my type of game on grass is very simple and easy. I serve and volley and on return of serve, as soon as a I have a short ball, I come in. I don't think too much. Playing on grass is what I do best."

Everything about Mauresmo is subdued, understated, apparently rational. Her hair is long and unfussily cut, her face unadorned by make-up, the fact that she is gay was simply stated in 1999 and neither subsequently hidden nor dramatised.

She does not live, or behave, like a star (if you discount the house in Geneva and that wine cellar). "I am lucky enough to have chosen people around me - and they have chosen me - that I can trust. My professional team have been with me for years and if they have something to tell me, they will. I don't see myself in terms of being a star. My friends will not do everything I say, and do not say 'yes' to me all the time. Maybe I'm fooling myself, but I don't think so."

Duh! A pic of Géraldine... *evil grin*

It just occurred to me that I never posted these two pics of Géraldine... may it be a good omen for tomorrow's final... *scratches head* uhm... whatever.

(Btw I've had a crappy week... and most of my friends are out of town tonight... *grabs cold beer* )

Eastbourne High-Res Photos :)

Updated till final :) (five photos from F)

(Click on the photo to enlarge)

(OMG I so love this one...)

Blonde Redhead Concert

Ok, I know this page will end up containing lots of photos that have nothing to do with Amélie... but I'm a little depressed from having to run around hospitals, doctors, medical centers, etc so I must post my photos from the concert I went to on Monday :D

It was phenomenal - Blonde Redhead is my favorite band of all time, ever, and we as an audience really pushed them to the limit (they did three encores)... Kazu (the Japanese female band member) got a little upset at us I think. The other two are Italians so I guess they pretended not to notice... *rolls eyes* *tape*

I even shot a little video I posted here. I was very surprised by the instruments they use but I'd better not bore you any longer and save these comments for my musician friends.

So here they are:

I loved the lights - they put together my favorite colors in infinite variations... my aesthetic receptors really took a breath of fresh air - unlike my respiratory system who had to undergo tropical temperatures :P

Eastbourne's depressing stalking scene...

Amélie tells us a bit about Eastbourne's apparently depressing stalking scene during the press conference.

Amélie: "there was a swift and nimble female who was looking at me like this..."

Amélie: "... you could see she had huge boobs... she kept agitating them in front of me"

Amélie: "... I tried to squeeze one of them but it was too big..."

Amélie: "Luckily I got a call from Bumsby... she's such a great girl, and told me to stay away from people who live in the South of London, wear tshirts with "SpankMe" written on it, and spread similar invitations on the Internet..."

Amélie: "... duh! Not even "Get Lost" (my anti-dyke summer spray) worked... now I have to ask Sophia to let me try other anti-fleas equipment... poor dog."

(Btw thanks Hugo for the photos: more here)

Amélie changes to double-handed backhand

She said she needed major changes, right?

;)

In truth, it's just one of the amazing pictures you can find (along with some videos) in nouf's scintillanting new website and forum: http://www.tennisphotos.org/

YAY! World MomOrganization News and Updates - WMO Bulletin

The big news of the day is that World MomOrganization keeps growing and a new member has just been recruited!
Ladies and Gentlewomen, following her mapping down and stalking every newspaper kiosk of her district in search of every bit of Momo related information, old and new, interesting or sleep-inducing, in the form of text or pictures, etc. :
the honorable KJ2007 has just been appointed "Official Utterly Useless Information Finder (OUUIF)".

Please wish her a good start (or rather continuation) of her job. (Btw this is something that I've been thinking of: does WMO membership comes as an achievement after hard, long, strenous work, or is it really the start of it all?)

The second big WMO news of the day is that World MomOrganization continues its expansion on the blogosphere. It is with pleasure of Amélitic proportions *cough* that I am made aware of
Famous Nipple and Scrunchy Watcher Slipknotsian 's visit here. She recently dropped by and said hello here. Her google name is Siany.

It's such a nice feeling when old friends drop by in the WMO blogging community. Like Sapphisto the other day.

Hope to see you guys here more often *big wave*

1970s party pictures...

Yay again, I went to get the photos from the party... they're absolutely gorgeous and now the big problem becomes selecting the ones to post. I'm told there's a new party in sight in two weeks (they didn't want to disclose the theme... yet) and we're thinking of doing a website.

Ok, here is the first two: starting vaguely...

I put many of them on a Flickr account. This one below is one of the best I think (and before you ask, no, it's not me, I was taking the photo)

Ok, time to post some more:
