Awww have you all seen this vid?

It's from Fed Cup SF against Italy...it makes me think that human beings are so different. If Amélie did to me what she does to Nath I'd be glued to her (teasing and playing) for the rest of the day.

French Team Présentation Fedcup semi final 2007

Huge thanks nouf and stefi62.

PS: I don't know why the font is so big up there and so tiny in the last lines, I can't seem to change it *shrug*

Why does tati always pose like an insecure 12 year old?!

There is a short interview with Amelix at the fed cup 75% of the way through in this news report -

Except for Mary. Mary is perfect. She works out, plays tennis, reads, cooks, tends plants, teaches, bosses out the people in her department, and rides her moto.

LOL j/k *hugs Mary*

Yes, but you're her stalker....

"Perfect" Mary is considering skipping Ladies Night tennis (round robin doubles) to stay home to drink.

It's been a terrible day at work. And yesterday I had my usual eye-opening gee-I-suck-at-tennis-am-I-a-mental-weakling insight (bleah! bleah!) playing against men at league. (I don't get it so much playing against women. Probably because they don't kill me so badly.)

And I haven't ridden the moto in at least two weeks. (But I do paint.)

Skip tennis? Drink? (Actually, mostly it's sleep I need. If I play tennis, I won't be in bed til 11pm or midnight (late for me)...I need to think about my ravelled sleaves and such.)

Have a great time at the gym, bumsby. I'm sure you'll really enjoy it!

HAve fun at the gym Bumsby Nadl Im with you Im lazy maybe on a good day I kick around a soccer ball .

And if amelie did that to me I would stay glued to hr it would take a S.W.A.T team to get me off her.

P.S what did amelie say in that interview? Spank

...and I played tennis, and it was good. I lost the first doubles, but won singles and the second doubles.

I tried staying home to drink, but I decided I would rather hit the ball. I'll drink now, and get to work late tomorrow (I actually am a bit ahead on work. I finished something today that I didn't promise until Wednesday.)

Re: tati--insecure 12-yr old. I think it's because it's approved by society, and tati must care. (A good number of men love that sort of thing, don't they?)

Plus she basically grew up / spent her formative teenage years in Florida.

SHe's just fitting in.

Bumsby said...

Mary, you don't play so well against men as with against women because... you're not enough motivated to :D j/k

Sorry you had a bad day at work, hopefully that's just because you overworked and will have more free time today and tomorrow in return.

I've been swarmed with little new tasks since 4pm this afternoon and I think I'm going to stay at the office until late... but if I can be at the gym by 8pm it's ok. Wow, I can't wait, I've never been so excited about something in a long time... stupid me.

I *did* have much more fun playing doubles at ladies night. I have such a great time; I try to be like Sveta in terms of jolliness and cheer. (She's my role model.)

Ms. French Woman #2 (not the one who played GLB league in the spring) was there, as is usual when she is not gallivanting about the globe, and commented on my clothes and watched me play (discreetly.) I was wearing my hot pink sleeveless Under Armour shirt and black shorts (commando, yes.) I gently teased her (she arranges the matches), but I could tell she didn't know how to respond. Goddam french women; I have no idea how they are except they are different from Americans.

Is there a Primer out there somewhere?

Then what are you waiting for?!?! Find out!!! Duh, forget primers, you'll learn by doing ;)
And primers won't help in one-on-one relationships, because unlike some other types of interaction individual differences become very clear then :)

Btw, I'm back from the gym :D
It wasn't properly "fun"... working out is not my idea of fun. But I feel really good now. It's just miraculous on the body. Though not right away ;) :P

The gym is a bit posh :P although it doesn't surprise me given the rest of the neighbourhood. I also don't like the social environment of gyms very much, in general; but until I can resume playing tennis it's the best I can do I think. And until I'll work in the posh neighborhood, I'm going to have to endure a posh gym, as well.

Bumsby said...

I forgot: the gym is aesthetically very pleasing. I've never seen a better looking gym: from the machines (tools?) to the locker room, from the showers to the relaxing area to the bar/restaurant; pretty cool tables and couches there as well. I'm very sensitive to environmental aesthetics, if there is such a thing; I mean the beauty of the surroundings. It can be a neighborhood or a room; I just feel better when I'm immersed in / wrapped by beauty.
